Perinatal Fitness

Pregnancy is a unique time. The body goes through many changes. Working out can be invaluable. However, working out appropriately is vital to your health and your babies. Learn all about how to work out safely and effectively while you are pregnant, after you have your baby, and how to workout with your baby!

Group Perinatal Classes

A 10 week session providing a fun group atmosphere of learning proper exercise techniques and relaxation tips, all while building friendships and support groups. Drop in rate of $15, if available, please email Kelly.

All women wishing to begin or continue an exercise program during their pregnancies should have a documented verbal and/or written clearance from their healthcare provider.

Energy Fitness Coaching follows a 3 step process to design and implement a safe and effective pernatal exercise program.

  • Initial screening: to determine a client's obstetrical, medical, and exercise history as well as her individual goals.
  • Educating: to familiarize her with the physiological and anatomical changes occurring during pregnancy and her exercise implications (i.e., how these changes affect her ablity to exercise)
  • Offering ongoing modifications: to coach various modifications based on individual needs as she progresses through her pregnancy (i.e., exercise alternanatives)
